NetSTAR, the global leader in OEM integrated solutions for internet categorization and threat intelligence, announced today that the inCompass® Back-end Content Categorization Engine (BaCCE) systems are now able to automatically detect and analyze webpage content in over 200 distinct languages, providing the largest active user URL categorization coverage in the world with telemetry data from over 1.3 billion devices, endpoints, and nodes.

BaCCE leverages advanced categorization systems, including over 250 content analysis engines which categorize images as well as text from now over 200 languages to categorize URLs, IPs, and potentially malicious links in real-time. It also monitors parked domains and verifies or changes previous categorizations based on site content updates.

Auto-detection of a language is essential in allowing NetSTAR to accurately categorize new website content and stream-line the human review process, when necessary, by sending uncategorized sites for content review to NetSTAR review team members that are fluent in the language of the website.

inCompass categorizes new sites in real-time. Through inCompass, partners can view URL categorization across over 200 proprietary NetSTAR categories, the IAB Version 2 Taxonomy, or across custom partner-defined categories. inCompass performs granular content inspection at the domain, path, and page levels for accurate categorization.
